Oxfam Ireland’s first superstore opens on Wednesday 15th of May in Holywood, Co. Down.
Everyone can find out what is so super about an Oxfam Superstore this Wednesday when Oxfam Holywood Superstore opens its doors to the public.
The quality and volume of the pre-loved garments are set to make this a shopping destination for the island of Ireland.
The Oxfam Holywood Superstore:
- Is about eight times bigger than the average Oxfam shop with 7,000 square feet
- Holywood is just 177 km from Dublin and 8 km from Belfast
- Will be run by four staff plus the essential support of 30 volunteers from all over the world
- Will join other Irish charity retailers in keeping an annual 103,150 tonnes of carbon out of the atmosphere (2023.) That’s the equivalent of 3.8 billion trees absorbing carbon in one day.
