Set up a Community Fundraiser
There are so many unique and fun ways to fundraise for Oxfam Ireland. Why not host a quiz with friends or family? Or get baking and have a coffee morning? You could also set up a virtual collection page to undertake a personal challenge.

Step 1: Choose how you want to raise money
Sometimes the hardest part of organising a fundraiser is coming up with the fundraising idea itself. Just in case you need a bit of inspiration, we have put together some suggestions for types of activities and events you can do to raise money.
Step 2: Set up a fundraising page
One of the first things you will want to think about is how you are going to collect donations or sponsorship. Setting up a fundraising page is the quickest and easiest way to let friends, family and work colleagues know you are raising money.
Step 3: Promote your fundraiser
Remember to ask family, friends, your community and colleagues to get involved in your fundraiser too. We have put together some useful materials to help you promote and run your fundraiser.

Step 4: Pay in the money you have raised
The money you have raised will allow the most vulnerable to lift themselves out of poverty and thrive. Now all that’s left for you to do is return the money you raised to Oxfam Ireland. Let one of our team members guide you through the process at irl-friends@oxfam.org.
